Went over to the house after work tonight and ripped up more carpet and started on the linoleum floor. It was a bitch but they’ll come off. What sucks is that tar paper under.
Still wondering what the best way to get that off will be.

More carpets gone!
Went over to the house last night with Lydia and started to take out more of the carpets. We got the first bedroom and the dining room finished and I started on the dining room. There’s linoleum flooring and some kind of backing layer still covering the hardwoods, but I’ll be scraping that sheezie off soon.
Hopefully the pee stank will start to subside.

So we closed at 4pm today (Monday the 15th) and after we left the office with keys in hand, we went right to the house and started ripping up carpet. Seeing this is a house from 1945, we figured we’d find hardwood floors under the stankass pee carpet, but we didn’t know what kind of shape they’d be in.
Well, I’m pretty pumped about what we found!!
Lydia and I danced like two kids that found an abandoned Hershey’s truck full of chocolate.
